Build the future of AI engineers.
Helix is building autonomous software engineers that connect to every cloud provider. We're looking for researchers, infrastructure engineers, and product builders who want to ship agents that write, test, and deploy real code.
Our Culture
At Helix, we value autonomy, rapid iteration, and deep technical curiosity. We are a remote-first team building agents that take on real engineering work across repositories and cloud providers.
We believe the best AI products are built by engineers who understand the full stack — from model reasoning to sandbox execution. Every role here touches the agent loop in some way.
Open Positions
Join our AI engineering and product teams.
Responsibilities
- •Design agent reasoning and planning architectures.
- •Improve context management, tool selection, and multi-step execution.
- •Benchmark agents against real-world software engineering tasks.
- •Collaborate with infrastructure teams to scale inference.
- •Publish reproducible evaluations and guardrail metrics.
Requirements
- •Strong background in machine learning, NLP, or autonomous systems.
- •Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration.
- •Proficiency in Python and at least one systems language (TypeScript, Go, Rust).
Responsibilities
- •Build the sandbox execution layer that runs untrusted agent code.
- •Design scheduling, isolation, and resource quotas for agent workloads.
- •Implement telemetry, billing, and usage attribution for compute.
- •Operate multi-tenant sandboxes at scale.
- •Integrate Daytona, Docker, and cloud provider primitives.
Requirements
- •Deep experience with containers, Linux namespaces, and runtime security.
- •Strong distributed-systems and observability fundamentals.
- •Experience with TypeScript/Node.js and infrastructure automation.
Responsibilities
- •Design and maintain the MCP server ecosystem (GitHub, cloud providers, SaaS).
- •Build tool schemas, result summarization, and permission models.
- •Create SDKs and examples for third-party MCP authors.
- •Ensure tool outputs are safe, concise, and deterministic.
- •Drive provider coverage across AWS, Vercel, Fly, Railway, Coolify, Cloudflare.
Requirements
- •Experience building APIs, SDKs, or integrations at scale.
- •Familiarity with MCP, JSON Schema, and OAuth2/credential management.
- •Strong TypeScript skills and a product-minded approach.
Responsibilities
- •Build guardrails that prevent unauthorized or destructive agent actions.
- •Design approval flows, audit logging, and secret-scrubbing pipelines.
- •Red-team agent outputs and tool invocations.
- •Define policies for autonomy levels and per-plan permissions.
- •Ensure compliance with NDPR/GDPR and customer DPAs.
Requirements
- •Experience in application security, abuse prevention, or AI safety.
- •Strong understanding of cryptography, access control, and observability.
- •Familiarity with LLM-specific risks (jailbreaks, tool misuse, data leakage).
Responsibilities
- •Prototype and ship user-facing Helix experiences.
- •Design conversation UIs, approval flows, and action-plan visualizations.
- •Instrument the product for agent quality and user trust.
- •Work across frontend, backend, and AI stacks to deliver end-to-end features.
- •Turn customer feedback into repeatable agent behavior.
Requirements
- •Strong full-stack experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- •Comfort working with LLMs, agents, and streaming UIs.
- •Product sense and ability to ship fast with minimal direction.
